Export and troubleshooting

Export a reviewed timeline and understand waiting states, retries, and project preservation.

01Review before exporting

  1. Play from the beginning and check black frames, cuts, clipped titles, and text covering subjects.
  2. Listen to dialogue and music for levels and joins, and check caption wording and timing.
  3. Confirm the composition and aspect ratio before starting export.
Try asking

Check this timeline for text outside the frame, overlaps, occlusion, and caption timing. Tell me what you find first.

02Choose quality and destination

  1. Open Export and select quality. The default 1080P is a useful starting point for everyday sharing.
  2. Wait for the app to check whether this device supports the chosen settings, then choose a location and start.
  3. Follow the export task and play the completed output to verify both picture and sound.
Choose export quality, check device support, and select a destination.

03Waiting, cancellation, and retries

Export may be preparing resources, waiting for another task, encoding, or verifying the file. Read its status when progress pauses; cancel if needed.

Check source media and the destination before retrying a failed or interrupted task. A retry exports that task’s original version. Start a new export after changing the timeline.

04Start troubleshooting here

  1. Model preparation: distinguish downloading, verification, and installation. Use Retry after a failure and check network access and free disk space.
  2. Agent unavailable: check installation, sign-in, network, and account allowance, then detect again. See Set up an AI assistant.
  3. Missing media: confirm the original file is present, any external drive is connected, and the file can be read.
  4. Uneven preview: pause other demanding tasks and review again. Check playback hints separately from the final exported result.
  5. Export failure: check free space, the destination folder, and source media. Retry as instructed; use in-app feedback with the diagnostic ID for persistent issues.

05Local projects, connectivity, and costs

Projects and original media are stored locally, and local models provide media understanding. The selected Agent service participates through conversations, tool results, and task-provided content; local storage does not imply fully offline processing.

Agent subscriptions and API charges are managed by the provider. Manage automatic diagnostics in app Settings, and retain your project after exporting if you want to keep editing.
